Here are some lessons and activities that I have tried with success. Originally, the focus for this website was on kindergarten activities but as I have spent more time in a grade 1-3 classroom, I am adding more ideas relevant to older students as well. So please check in, even if you are not specifically teaching kindergarten. Some of these activities have been included in the children's portfolios. Portfolios are indicated by an apple. I may not use the same activities for each year as I like to vary things a bit. A visit to either of the links below will provide more information about portfolios. |
